Anyway, even if submit by 3 pm tomorrow Wed, they won't process immediately, because must wait for those students who have appealed for psle results to re check, clear all these appeal cases, before computer can process S1 posting

No I called MOE helpline to understand appeal process. MOE will post kids based on existing t-score. Roughly, appeal outcome will be out same time as posting outcome. If really the t-score went up, you can take the re-issued cert and appeal to another school with higher COP if you wish to do so.

Sorry, i forgot to clarify my definition of Appeal

The Appeal I refering to here , is refering to those students who request SEAB to re-look or investigate into why their PSLE score per subject (eg. Science) was much lower than what the P6 student had expected. And per subject investigation, costs $53

Whereas another type of appeal that cutepandabear refering to, will arise later on, AFTER MOE have sent the early morning sms to P6 parents, to inform parents which Secondary school their child has been posted to. And if their child have met the school's COP, they can appeal later if vacancies arise.
We are talking about different kind of appeal
hi, just curious, what info SEAB will disclose if parent pay $53 and appeal? Would SEAB reveal child's raw score and T-score of that subject? or allow parent to see the actual paper of their child?

order of choice definitely matters:

in your case, your child goes to School 3.

If you really love a school and want your child to go to that school, you should put that school in front. Otherwise you may end up with going to a less favorable school.

Hi, need help.
I'm confused with the choice placements. Understand that if 2 kids have the same Tscore and are fighting for the last vacancy, it doesn't matter if first kid has chosen school A as the 2nd choice or the other kid has chosen the same school as the 3rd choice. They would be allocated either by citizenship or by balloting.

In this case, does it mean it doesn't matter how we arrange our choices (assuming score is 221), for eg :

1. School 1, COP 222 (no vacancy, not allocated)
2. School 2, COP 222 (no vacancy, not allocated)
3. School 3, COP 220 (has vacancy)
4. School 4, COP 221 (has vacancy)

Will the kid be allocated school 4 first even if we put school 3 as 3rd choice?

Appreciate your advice.

hi ACS parents,

as a mission school, does ACS practice religious activities in daily routine (like morning prayer, masses, etc)? How does the religious value affect students’ daily life? thanks.

For parents struggling to decide which secondary school to choose, why not try AI recommendation at www. sgdatascience.com "Secondary School Posting Advisor".

based on your child’s PSLE t-score and location, AI recommend you 6 Choices Order considering the historical weighted COP, chance to admission, other pupils’ selection and distance to home. You can take as reference when make final decision for your DS/DD.

my gal did mentioned she find the paper easier than SA1. but the passing rate for each subject still about the same as SA1.
DD is in the 3rd class of P6. she was kinda of upset yesterday. she told me that some of her friends in the top 2 classes, find out from other classmates that she score higher marks than them for certain subjects, so they actually ignore her, dont want to talk to her during recess. she ask me what should she do... advice please, parents?
just tell your gal to keep performing. Other people will get used to her excellence eventually.

As Prelim result is out, new features has been added to the PSLE Score Prediction website (http://www.sgdatascience.com). This website predicts PSLE score and chance of admission to any secondary school.

Did anyone watch Star Trek Insurrection? Not a good movie, but an interesting premise: a species has advanced technology, but reject its use to live simpler lives.
