      You are mistaken

Only the DSA offer (CO or Waitlist from SST, is out before the PSLE, by the last day of August (30 Aug)

However, the actual DSA Exercise option period is conducted only After the Psle is over.
Since 2 weeks after Psle had passed, already over, by then, u would have known how

      - u had actually fared in each of the 4 subjects during the Psle, and

      - is up to u to accept or not, SST CO / Wait-list.

If you are interested, keen to accept, then u exercise. Thus, the Admission process (procedure), from beginning till the end, is After PSLE was over. Not before

Mine took about a week to be delivered. You have to keep emailing them cos the person in charge didn’t pick up my calls over 2 whole days. I was kiasu and emailed a few times till I got a reply!

Ic. But just based on the child's description of how he or she has fared, could be not accurate too, if you have to decide to accept or reject if offered before results are released. esp if you would prefer to know if ESIS is attained.
            Thanks phtthp for sharing.

The good thing is orientation is till 10 Jan so hopefully they won’t really need the LD till lessons start. 😉

A question for existing parents on the LD. Did you take up insurance? If so, where did you get it from? We have taken the Apple Care Plus to cover hardware issues and breakages but it doesn’t cover loss or theft. I’m not sure if it is worth buying or not?

                    Hi existing parents/students,

Will a introvert but keen in sci and tech be able to fit in this school? not so outspoken type vs very vocal type. Are the kids in this school mostly independent learning type like the traits required for IP? Can a kid more suitable for normal MOE school not IP, fit into this school?

I would recommend to attend the open house 2020 to find out for yourselves and then decide if it is a fit for the child

I would agree that you should attend the Open House. My son is also the introvert type - we weren’t even sure how he would handle the interview for selection but he must have done something right! There is a lot of project work so they will have no choice to work in teams and to present to the class. It’s still early days but my son is enjoying it so far and doesn’t seem to be stressed by the environment; only time will tell.

Other than that, I have been really impressed with the school so far. If your child is into science & tech, you should definitely take a look.
