Thank you chenlaoshi for yr ever constructive sharing. Looks like OG’s offer is alcohol based. I need only a small handy bottle on-the-go.

          :thankyou:
The alcohol based sanitizers can be quite harsh if used frequently. Been hearing everyone mentioning that hands are becoming quite dry.

Do look at the ingredients list and try to look for those that use denatured alcohol or have moisturising ingredients. Makes a difference.

CISCO officers serving Q & SHN orders must wear! Cleaners disinfecting those affected areas must wear too. These are all in line with MOM's and MEWR's WSHC guidelines.

              ...

Then isn’t this contradicting the advice “if well don’t wear masks”? I thought there was a minister who did not wear masks while visiting people in quarantine?

I think Singaporeans are generally kind and reasonable. No one will be upset if some frontliners have to wear masks even if they are well.

Some exceptions must be granted to private cleaning companies and auxiliary police.
Frontline medical workers, SCDF/SPF standing outside the chalet room assisting with the swab tests and low-wage cleaners using strong chemical solvents to disinfect toilets in hotel rooms previously occupied by Wuhan guests are in proximity to the germs that could be left on surfaces, or droplets exhaled by PUQs when officers serve them orders at the doorstep.

On 25 Jan, I saw a media photo of a migrant worker cleaning Case 2's hotel without gloves. I was aghast and quickly left a feedback that we need to have strict guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of cleaners. I'm glad the govt swiftly came up with the guidelines.

              https://www.nea.gov.sg/our-services/public-cleanliness/environmental-cleaning-guidelines

I also think those civil servants from SCDF standing outside the quarantined person's room should be kitted out. Those standing at the chalet gates do not need to, and they aren't from the tv footages.

I only know a Tampines MP delivered some basic necessities to a resident under HQ and she was all masked up with gloves too. Another was Ong Ye Kung discussed earlier. Lastly, Lawrence and Josephine surveying some unoccupied Tuas dorms that have been prepped for those 30k PRC workers.

Just being abundantly cautiously and it is actually quite hilarious to some people. Even I think am over-killing.

Esteema, you asked about the 1-year-old “baby”? He has been discharged, according to today’s ST update:

                    https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/health/coronavirus-4-new-cases-including-3-linked-to-grace-assembly-of-god-church-21-cases?xtor=CS3-18&utm_source=STiPhone&utm_medium=share&utm_term=2020-02-19%207%3A02%3A00

He had only mild symptoms & recovered well.

The number of Covid patients in ICU has dropped down to 4. Praying for them to recover and can be discharged too.

Another thing v funny, if not airborne, then why ask taxi drivers to wind down windows? 🤷
There are 2 interpretations of \"airborne\", and often people talk at cross purposes. The medical people use airborne to mean that the virus can be spread in the air for long periods even when dry. They distinguish this from droplets (also in the air) which are wet and only travel for a metre or so before landing on a surface, where they stay. The winding down of windows in taxis and having open windows in buildings is a way to lower the concentration of any droplets. In the SARS period, China's advice was to 通风, which makes sense to me.
