Prices of many items in ntuc hv gone up !
at least around 10% in many places. Not surprising coz businesses will be hit somehow. Many things will 断货 in the coming months so there will not be anymore regular income from the sale of these items. The books still need to balance if you donch wanna close shop...can't blame them

In the first place, $35 per box of 50pcs seems to be rather expensive isn't it? Glad they make the right call.

                Hi...

Our teacher discussed Mr CCS's speech in class; we had also talked about it at home. For one, my child can understand the need to code-switch (we've an old towkay-sort of relative...). Plus, we see what Mr CCS does for his constituency (our living environment), & he has our support.

Asahi has started tabulating covid19 cases this week, & their end of day Japan numbers now seem more updated than cna's. Until the cruise disembarkation, trending news was Koizumi S missing the covid meeting...

At Daiso Tampines, there are stocks for masks and thermometers. A packet of 7 for men, a packet of maybe 10 for women, all at $2. There is ‘Activated Charcoal’ masks !?!

At Mr DIY in Tamp Century Square, the cashier even asked if I want a free mask though my purchase is only $2.

Is code-switching the same as using derogatory terms such as “idiots” and “suckers”? No one is faulting his use of Singlish but rather his choice of words.

Picking up Singlish is fine but not picking up the condescending tone and derogatory choice of words

I think it’s not very nice for a minister to label his electorate as such.

Unless we are saying that SCCCI big bosses also speak in such a manner and use such language too. 😂
