Hi all, would like to clear some doubts.

My husband and I, together with our child are all baptised Catholics. I understand that this will make my child be eligible for Phase 2B if applying for a Catholic primary school. So will becoming a Parent Volunteer (which I understand is also for Phase 2B) still affect anything? Will it increase the chances? Or should I not waste my time?

Hey thanks for the reply! So as long as you get into 2B, nothing else will affect your chances right apart from distance?

Hi all. Need advice for PLMGS, 2023 registration. I am trying to think how I can increase my chances. My mum is the main caregiver and I understand she will be in the 1 to 2km category. No other affliliation so will be in 2c.


Does it makes sense to shift within 1km (in phase 2c), or be a church member (in phase 2B, 1 to 2km)?

Or, would Hong wen be a good choice (within 1km phase 2c)

Appreciate any thoughts on this!

Hong Wen can try PV or GRL. 2C need balloting for <1km. If can’t get PV, can consider shift to <1km PLMGS, balloting higher chance and affiliation

I asked because it seems that all Christian schools in Singapore are either Catholic or Denominational Christian.
