Thot docs issue at least 5 days’ MC?
Actually, if the doc is seeing you for the 1st time, he will likely be more conservative in prescribing the medication.starlight1968sg\" post_id=\"1966661\" time=\"1583967491\" user_id=\"14025:
I somehow agree on doctor hopping. Else all go straight to A&E of hospitals
With covid as a pandemic (by WHO), where are we now?
If you have a flu/cold, what you can do is ask the doc for the strongest med possible, something that will knock you out and on top of that, at least 2 days MC. Your body can only repair if you have enough rest.
Anyway, I noticed some GPs will wear protective yellow gear, masks & gloves when examining patients. Long before this, I rmbr Dr Wee (ex president’s daughter) always careful & very detailed in interviewing her patients & she will not touch patients unless absolutely nec. Then do, she’ll wear her gloves, dispose after & wash up. The risks is probably at the counter or seats.
Best still practice high level of hygiene, leave yr face sacred & not touch. Minimize risks. -
Now, some parents fretting & waiting for MOE to sort out Year 3 students’ impending OBS camp in Aug.
Tricky coz nobody knows how bad orvwidely spread this COVID situation can spin into. Students are suppose to do a medical check & get medically certified to be fit for OBS for submission by 23 March, but this certification valid for only 6 mths. If do now & situation gets worst or postpone till year-end, then hv to do a 2nd med certification.
Ano worry is having kids going to GPS & exposes risks of catching COVID. Some schools arrange for one GP to do medical certification in-house. -

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was referring to normal GP consultation during non-covid19 time.

Then miss the deadline for submission and don't go, given the uncertainty.

Why not you ask your GP friend to organise a session especially for these kids, macam private function in a restaurant!

My boy's school has arranged for a mobile medical team to come to the school this week to facilitate the medical screening for the boys. Saves us the worry and hassle of going to GP.

Seems like Japan’s hosting the Olympic will proceed as planned, at least the countdown on official Tokyo Olympic website is still ticking.
Anyone can use their crysral ball?
