My kid used the school science notes, O level science textbooks as well as past year papers to practise. I think the textbooks are in the Sec1 booklist last time.

I remember we only have one Chemistry? textbook in booklist..

For Sec 1 O, can buy O level Sci textbooks for use from Sec1 till O lvl or buy 1 level each year?

Dear all

For those experienced parents, can you please give me some idea on what to make out of the grades in Sec 1? Are 60s and 70s for subjects like Math and Science something to worry about? What kind of GPA should put our mind at ease and let the kids be?

I think GPA > 3 (or a bit higher, maybe different every year) would allow you to choose any subject combination. Like triple science … Every kid has different favourite or strong subjects, but I think Maths is easier to get A1 and RV Chinese is not easy to score.
