For the 3rd consecutive day, we keep breaking our own record. From 14 to 17 and today 23 cases. Not a good sign.

Hubby saw a group of angmo tourists with their tour guide strolling along Kallang River today. So lucky of them to have escaped quarantine.

Flow of goods, food supply cargo to continue between Singapore and Malaysia

          https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/singapore-malaysia-cargo-goods-border-restrictions-12547142
Flow of goods and food supply to continue between SG and Malaysia which will benefit both sides. Kind of expected.

Am a little bit disappointed actually because I am very curious to know what would happen to us (for example, price of goods go up or new opportunities for new products to come in) if Malaysia were to stop our supplies for at least 14 days or longer. I know we have back up plans, just curious lah...

Still see S'poreans going overseas for holidays this period. Please please please 🙏 , let's not be complacent and let our guard down. Refrain from unnecessary travel and urge your family to do the same! Everyone needs to play a part!

Introverts are perfectly happy to stay at home & cancel meetups. It’s the extroverts who are at higher risk (and complain more about the social distancing) during this pandemic.

Temasek Foundation to provide every household with 500ml of hand sanitiser

Have to bring own empty bottles.

Today, good frd in Tianjin call to ask if I need her to send masks, sanitizers & thermometers. I don’t know why but on reflex just said don’t need to trouble her as her country medics resources may need. She said in China, they wear masks but all schools go on e-Learning, so hardly use except for grocery outing. She assured me their production is back to normal so she can send some if my family needs. We spoke for almost 3 hours & her daughter clearing UK as the virus spread to European countries. This is a good friend who rmbrs our frdship in the midst of this COVID crisis. Warm feeling.

Ano M’sian/Indo coupled with 2 kids & bz in Shanghai had been taking safe shelter for last 2 mths but quickly pack up to fly back to Shanghai the moment M’sia announced lockdown. Where can we hide now?

These are probably those kiasu travelers booked holidays since last year but no possibly to forgo hefty tickets & accommodation fees that runs into thousands?

If all travels ard the world lockdown, then might possibly get refund or the like. One gains ano loose out. The airlines, hotels, restaurants, etc hv to cut staff, suffer big losses & eventually retrenchment which comes back to haunt the individuals.

Must learn to let go. Hope Hspanese learn to with 2020 Olympics too.

Read that if you put on SHN as a result of non essential travel, you use your own leave to serve it?

I think our situation is deteriorating and unsure what measures will be rolled out to contain and mitigate the devil.
