Yes, indeed thankful. It’s not easy to leave family behind not knowing how long this will take to resume nolmacy but they’ve to try to keep their jobs. It’ll be hard for me to part with my family. Salute! :salute:

Anyone getting/start getting affected by this situation? I find myself getting more affected, busy updating with family members etc and my work got slowed down :stupid:

I am stressed over this crisis though I know I can't do anything about it.

Am not, no point being stressed over events beyond my control.

But inconvenience by work from home arrangement as I usually run errands during lunch time.

Also mentally frustrating due to lack of adult social interaction.

It's the cancellation of events that is irritating - so many things we planned have to be cancelled (work, personal, my kids' activities etc). After all the planning and work that went into things, and seeing other people's disappointments too, that can be hard. One of my daughters has had so many plans fall apart - as a mother, I hurt too!

Adult interaction - now that so many people are stuck at home too, I guess we can WA/Skype etc?

Maybe it helps that I don’t have a TV? I control what info I “feed on” so that I don’t keep hearing bad news all day. I just read from a few reliable sources & that’s it. Go about my day with relaxing music, upbeat music, online sermons etc. Chat with kid about normal daily stuff (I do not initiate mention of the latest panic news or infected/death toll in XYZ countries as it does not concern him, it will only cause more panic etc).

Fear is also contagious. So be very vigilant & careful cos some boliao social media are not only time-wasters, they are damaging to our mind health, spirit & soul also.

Adult interaction - now that so many people are stuck at home too, I guess we can WA/Skype etc?[/quote]My DD's have already received offers for her overseas university applications. Unable to proceed with acceptance/rejection as unable to forecast the extent of the virus spread/recovery for each country. There are a couple of options - if country A cannot, then country B or country C, but need to decide on which country. Guess will just have to be patient and wait out for another month.

WA/Skype is not quite the same as meeting face-to-face for tea or lunch. Making do with it but hopefully not long-term.

Even delivery for online shopping is impacted so no retail therapy even.

We do not plan many things in advance, and our lifestyle is pretty routine. Work and home, 两点一线 with a break at year-end.
