Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates
-
Earlier in this thread there are some forummers that critized some of us for being concerned about covid-19 as they said it is just a flu. This video explains clearly why we should be concerned. The video used US numbers but it applies to all countries in the world.

It is ironical that China started sending medical staff and surgical masks to Europe to help them.
The coronavirus exposed a can of worms. I think gone are the glory days of Europe, Italy now has more deaths than Wuhan. A missed opportunity for liberal democracies to showcase their leadership and strengths but they fumbled badly.
Maybe China should sell the respirators and surgical masks 10 times more expensive to the west to recoup their economic losses. If Trump asks for help, sell the equipment to him 100 times more expensive, since he labeled Covid-19 as “Chinese virus”. -

Nobody knows if all the countries are reporting real or fake figures. At least for Wuhan, being the former epicenter, they have 3 consecutive days of 0 cases. Whereas for Italy, the death figures are still rising at an alarming rate with no sign of slowing down.

Many westerners think Covid-19 will not reach them, that it only affects the Chinese, so they continued partying even though they know an epidemic is happening on the side of the world. -
Yes, the westerners let their guard down, although the storm virus had started infected many people in China, since Chinese New Year period
Going forward, the future seem grim, uncertain
Tomorrow Monday, school Term 2 start, until May. If fellow classmates did not attend school, means they are on 14 days LOA, having travelled overseas during this one week break, self-study e-learning school lessons at home -
