Thanks for your concern. No, my parents stay by themselves. We are keeping in touch via WA and phone. They go out nearby when it's not crowded, and they drive. So they are fairly safe. They remember SARS when my brother (a doctor working with some of the patients) was living at home, so they know the precautions. We were going to celebrate their anniversary this weekend, but we've decided to postpone a week so my daughter will be finished with her SHN by then. And we'll buy food in this time, instead of going to a restaurant.

It’s looking grave here in England. We are on the verge of a mandatory lockdown, as at the weekend a lot of the population nonchalantly ignored governmental advice and engaged in normal everyday activities at malls, supermarkets, pubs, parks and beaches - in huge numbers with no physical distancing. Our trajectory is not too dissimilar to that of Italy. Let’s see what this week brings. I have high hopes and very low expectations.

Good to know yr parents are living independently. Sounds like u’ve less worries for yr parents & both yr daughters are by yr side. At least for next mth or so. Warm to know u 松了一口气.

How to social distancing in crowded mrt or buses?

MRT to "mark out" the seats, ie.
Fix the Alternate seating arrangement

If got people sit down, then don’t sit right next to the person

and also

During peak hours,
MRT staff got to control the crowd entering into each MRT cabin (or carriage) count by setting a maximum number of people allowed to enter, per cabin. People got to queue up orderly. Once reach maximum quota per cabin (carriage) boarding, Wait for the Next Train to arrive, please

Instead of now, everybody just mad rush into train carriages, during peak hours.

To ensure nobody jump queue, everyone to queue up properly, MRT to announce (broadcast) at each station at regular interval, during peak hours that
