Top-up migrant workers' prepaid SIM cards

        https://www.giving.sg/twc2/topup

This campaign was started amidst the Covid-19 situation. Migrant worker dormitories have been hit hard and thousands of workers have been forced to stay in their dormitories.

Imagine the stress and anxiety from confinement in close quarters. And the worry from there not being work and no assurance of income.

The workers' mobile phones are their lifelines to the outside world, be it to call for help and speak about their problems, or to keep in touch with worried family back home.

Some dormitories do not have wifi and therefore, for those who face a lockdown, data for their smartphones becomes critically important.
The concern is, those not working, will have too much time on hand, will start socialising since they have received some form of compensation from the budget. No pain, hence no worry. 😓

I hope there are laws that can be invoked to deter people from holding mini BBQ parties at their condo. I saw on Facebook, this particular shop selling raw satay, BBQ chicken wings will stay open and also provide deliveries during this circuit-breaker period 🤷

Now that Singaporeans have nowhere to go, will all head to supermarkets to kill time?
The NTUC at TPY was very crowded this morning and I saw at least 20 customers (mostly students) crowding around Bubble Tea shop!!

I walked pass 美珍香, staff still roasting Bak kwa, 🤷 I am very worried whether our Circuit Breaker will work out as well as hoped.

We are taking things too lightly and need constant reminders to stay home to minimise movements and mingling.

recently ,my dh has been on later work arrangment & this morn as he did his daily run , he saw exceptional more number of youngster and seniors \"socialising\" in the park today , walking pets n talking etc .... I really hope these people be more responsible n keep safe distance away fr each other... younger couples exercise \"park tor\" in parks since tertiary is having sch holidays etc?

I do not wish to see continue climb in case numbers & extreme measures by G or police or army need to patrol out to control irresponsible people movements... we should learn lesson fr ang mo countries , not obedient enough and community spread becomes wild fire

older aunties use market & supermarket as \"gather\" places - they go marketing together :slapshead:
if these people Not compliant ....if they still loiter, wander around, defeat the objective of CB

CB comes, with great costs to all

Maybe those who can't stand being at home might go for bus or train ride. Hope this will not be

                    Try GIANT’s stationery section

This is so needed esp when anxieties are high now. Law covers ALL, no need worry some condos don’t hv executive law/rights written in MCST
