I guess every family has its own way of managing. My husband and I believe in routines, and we have always imposed that in our home. Both kids have picked this up too. Even when we are all at home, we observe regular meal times and work/off times. There were some years when my kids were doing school at home overseas, and we set up routines and timetables then; this period seems just like a repeat for us.
yeah..hbl means sleeping, meal time all upside down..actually during school days their meal time also like like..most days home at about 4pm, washed up and meal usually at 4+.. usually 1 meal and snacking all the way to bed time. at least school days, breakfast, recess, food after school hour kinda fixed.
Weekends, sometimes I do feel like preparing food like buffet style..cooked and leave food in thermal pots for warming.. -

Can. Just a quick one outside my house.
Funz, can bring handsome boi out to do big/small business?
1st few days he did not understand why we were not heading to our normal walking route, will pull on the leash away from the direction home. Now he knows, will automatically head home the moment he is done. -
It is a bit of a challenge for us as well, for all to keep to the same schedule. DS is on HBL but school have them still keeping pretty much to their usual timetable. So there will be days when his HBL ends at 12+ other days 2+. DH is on business call with his staff and business associates all over the world so that is another challenge. DD is still waiting for term to start so she is flexible. For me, my schedule has always been flexible so I will just try to accommodate DS and DH’s schedule.

My opposition party dun like to follow, so at this age, i ma still nagging n sometimes when both side mood no good can be a bit tense.
I still stick to my routine but some flexibility to the opp party at home ( teen ds)
Frankly, it is really stressful for me , cos my routine chg, i need time to adjust , I am ftw mum so it is really
headache to catch up work n chores at the same time, meals /food .
we need 3 proper meals, cos ds eat a lot alot ( but not carbo) every now n then is hungry but dun like cookies, cakes.. enjoy savoury food %faint% he will use my kitchen to cook, messy , oily, then i got more things to clear for him even after he wash - oily top wet & messy sink etc Some more i said before I got a Slave driver big boss who feels we should do more coz we are still taking salary - she is whipping everyone esp admin dept - must be No life , no love at home

@MP, can tell from your posts that you dislike your boss v much, lol. My SIL started working at home before CB started and after 1week, she nearly went crazy.
For me, life as usual, not much difference from June/Dec holidays. Last Monday DH was on MC so he worked at home for a day. I nearly went crazy cos I am can’t even raise my voice at all times and I must constantly make sure my children do not make noise till almost 7pm. So I am v happy when he’s back in his office!
My helper left in early March after her 2yrs contract is up. My new maid still in Indonesia and can’t travel due to the lockdown. Earlier I thought I will dabao but somehow, I end up cooking most days cos my hubby and kids prefer (simple) home cooked food like a hearty soup. Due to CB, I am forced to trap myself at home so now, I have a lot of time to clear housework, lol -

You have a smart Ah Boi who knows all can’t wander far.
Ladies
Am getting crazy but perhaps being able to go to work helps to keep my sanity. Since all at home most of the time, there is more washing and cleaning of the house.
There is cooking and washing after the meal.
All wish thus nightmare will be over ASAP
