Also beyond my understanding. If the idea is to disinfect the display shelves, then must move out all the bread on the shelves first mah.. unless the disinfectant is certified safe for human consumption, lol.

I don’t like to eat out & nvr bought buns or artisan bread fr bakeries mainly bcoz of the ovalet they use. I’ve been baking my own bread & now hubby picking up the skill with me.
Over the years, we’ve seen what some restaurant/cafe outlets hv used for cleaning their premises for the spick & span Look & achieve that perfect & presentable shop presence. I’ve once openly & directly questioned a Swenson staff the use of clorox sprayed onto the table vacated next to mine when out for a meal with my bz contact. They apologized but that incident impressed a nvr wipeout abhorence even as I share this.
I recall one of the NTUC Finest stores shut down for a day to disinfect. Just curious, was the process also something similar, like spray disinfectant on the displayed goods. Haha. -

Haha.[/quote]I certainly do not hope they spray over the uncovered bread. Isn’t there a volunteer group go round collecting unsold bread for homes on a daily basis? If these are sprayed over, I certainly hope they’re not distributed to any nursing homes or children’s home. Hope they treat every lives with dignity. Having said so, I’m also doubtful cake shops discard or give away unsold cakes as I’ve seen many in chillers at the end of day not removed & staff just locked up. -

I certainly hope they’re safe over food esp exposed food. Nevertheless, it’s still unsettling to my ignorant belief, even tho I’m very aware for example my condo change fr using mosquito spray to mosquito misting which was claimed to be harmless & Eco-frdly.

I do wipe again with water though I know some people do not. I used alcohol sanitiser instead of Dettol.
After spraying Dettol mixed with water on the tableS, keyboard, phones, do I still need to wipe again using a moist cloth?
As a side, I also spray into the air around me as well as on my seat and arm-rest. -
