During this time, price of petroleum products such as gasoline may still go up due to inflation. Any cost components along Supply chain from crude oil to petroleum products may just go up depending on supply and demand of goods and services.

Just pondering aloud, but why Govt wanna pay for all the expenses associated with accommodation for migrant workers and returning travellers? They could have made it mandatory for these people be quarantined at their own (or employer / dorm) expenses? Many countries, I read so far malaysia and India, are doing so for certain vulnerable groups. Dun get me wrong, I dun advocate for either way, thought I do have a personal preference but is just curious genuinely .

The govt is now only paying for the difference fr Original costs of Eyers’ expenses on the FW. The additional costs for testing, etc are borne by govt.

Vaccines are not easy as it requires many levels of testing & approval to ensure its safe for human consumption whilst curing w/o side effects. Unlike Trump & Abe recommending sth that was not approached previously when used for Ebola treatment & with side effects of defects in human life, just for economic movement & political gain. -
