personally i don’t buy insurance for my children specially when they are young… not that it’s pantang or what, but then they have those $3 or $5 insurance a year in school. Or times have changed… hehe my children are all grown up now but still don’t have life insurance. Only buy when they go traveling.

My aunt also didn't buy any personal insurance for her kids when they were young, only relied on the school's insurance. I only buy two types of insurance now. When I travel, usually from Aviva or posb and http://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/insurance/driveshield/default.page for my car from dbs.

Hi titank, we bought posb http://www.posb.com.sg/personal/insurance/juniorcare/default.page? for our kids. Think the product name is 'Kids Personal Accident Insurance'. What we like about it is that don't need medical check up, quite comprehensive coverage and the premiums are quite afforable. Less than $20 a month.

Tenet just launched their PA Junior. It covers infectious diseases up to S$1,500. Including HMFD.

Generally, Tenet PA always ranked high on benefit per premium paid compared to its peers. Of course there're bias and limitation as there're no 2 exactly similar products in the market.

            Anyway,

            http://www.tenetinsurance.com/PersonalIns/PAJunior.aspx

You can read the actual wording & brochure at their website.

            Hope it helps.

                  😂

Can tell me what is the coverage amount and the yearly premium you are paying?

I met with my Prudential agent this afternoon, almost 18 years did not see her after buying the Prulink Assurance policy.

                  We did a review.

She was surprised to hear that hubby does not have PA policy and recommended me a policy that has a coverage of $500k (if I remembered correctly) for $200+ yearly premium.

Is this the norm premium and coverage?

                    Jennifer,

Give me some time to find my policy and update. I will pm you the details. Can’t remember the details now as I have a few policies relating to PA and medical. But I think $500k payout is lesser than mine (?) and premium of $200 also lesser than mine. the few that I am paying range between $300+ to $700+ each.

Yalor, why dotn have PA coverage ar? He shd leh… Cos sole breadwinner mah. Unless he has other coverage la.

How do you know if the policy is good? Sometimes there’s so much fine print and the agent just want to push what they have. I try my best to ask around but sometimes it’s not so clear cut…
