That is very great news! My friend daughter is also hoping for LKC too. She has offered another programme in NUS and currently hoping for NTU LKC outcome.

Hi! HVR,
Feedback from my daughter's circle of friends. At least 5-6 of them with double offers have chosen YLL, about 2 prefer LKC. Good chance that you son will be offered if high up on the LKC waitlist. All the best!
Desmond Tang\" post_id=\"1977230\" time=\"1590126353\" user_id=\"185268:
NTU is magnanimous. While awaiting for the Medicine waitlist outcome, they have welcomed my son to take up Biological Sciences & BioBusiness and has offered him a Nanyang Scholarship too. I thanks NTU for their nobility and generosity. It's indeed a great privilege to study at this wonderful university.
Thanks for the encouragement. If there's still chance there's hope. Great day! -

Heard that there are some education consultancies/ academy which provide advice on how to apply for medical schools e.g. how to write personal statements, build up portfolio, do profiling, etc. Anyone has engaged their services before and are they useful?

If your dd/ds has been able to excel at their academic journeys and performed extremely well, you do not need to worry about their ability and capability. I am sure they are able to do well.
Every year many top students are competing for a course in medicine that have limited number of places available and the competition is stiff. Sending your dd/ds to attend special coaching center is good but does not guarantee you a place to study medicine. Our childrens are street-smart and book-smart, they can manage their studies and do not stress them.
My son and friends, they did their self-study to prepare for BMAT exams, read up on the past and current events progressing in the local medical, nursing and health care sectors. Read up on the FAQs about the MMI interviews. I heard some JCs conduct mock up MMI interviews to assist their students. Actually most of the preparation works could be done by googling the internet and mining the relevant materials and informations to study.
First and foremost find out what your dd/ds wants and let them plan their pathway.

Hi! Apple12245,
Anyone heard the news on waitlist?
I guess that it should be around now and end before 17 June (2nd acceptance window). Offer would make as and when places are available. This was stated on LKCSoM information leaflet sent via email to those after their MMI interviews. NTU will definitely send notification to those on waitlist regardless of the outcome.
I have heard that the waitlist was around 60. At the moment we hope for the best. -
