LKC intake is 150 this year. My son said 2 of his classmates are opting for scholarships at other courses overseas and have released LCK offers. So there will be slots available. Stay hopeful.
Do you know what courses these 2 classmates are going to take overseas ? Which university ? What the exact value of the scholarship ? PSC ? Who is the scholarship provider ? And why they don't want medicine ? Or don't want LKC ?

It is not convenient to reveal their options for fear of identifications. They only had LKC offers and no offer from YLL. Medical school is not the only option to good fulfilling career. There are many other opportunities and options that these top students have.

Good luck to every student waiting for their replies.

                  Hi! Monsta,

Let us wait in support of our children transformation to the next phase of life. Let's relax a little and think about the good things our children have accomplished thus far. We are all proud parents of our children regardless of the outcome.

What's your children second or alternative choice of chosen course of study? My have son has chosen Biological Sciences & Biz. This course is dealing with biological and biomedical science research and provide an exciting pathways for him in keeping abreast of the latest medical development around the world. Not being in MBBS does not mean no other workaround. If there's a will there is a way.

My son has just served NS as Commando in the medic vocation. He has acquired the knowledge and skills in the aspect of treating and applying first aid to injured soldiers during peace and war time. Unfortunately his medic portfolio was not submitted during the admission application being that the medic vocation was not make known till he completed his Commando BMT. The skill set and knowledge these soldiers had been trained is helpful in the course of MBBS study if given the opportunity else a prospective candidate has been missed out in the selection processes.

Well, I am not begrudging here but sharing some views in life. We can see that Life isn't always fair, but that's irrelevant. All that matters is that you figure out where you want to be, hold your head high, and keep moving forward.

Don't worry, be happy everyone here!

Absolutely. I read with disgust about parents fretting over covid19 and their precious kids wanting to go med school. Ridiculous. Doesn’t even know what is a medical calling.
