Last night I read that one Unlinked case, a sec 4, 15yo St Anthony’s Canossian Sec girl showed symptoms on the 3rd June and confirmed the virus on 12th June.

Last night I was wondering why show symptoms on 3rd June but report came out only 12th June. Then did she attend school during that period?

Serological test showEd she caught the virus before school reopened.

Then just now ST reported that the girl’s teacher found her to be unwell during the temperature taking session on 10th June. So she was sick for more than a week before being identified?

Although 47 classmates had been tested negative, I think still need to be watchful as symptoms may only show up a few days (7-14 days) later?

Perhaps her symptoms were really mild and she hardly went out during CB which was why it was taken for granted that it was not covid until her situation got worse later on.

She was found to be unwell by a teacher on 10th June. So she did the swab only on 10th June?

On 14th June ST reported all 47 classmates tested negative. Her 47 classmates took the tests on 12th after the girl was a confirmed case? Any possibility of them turning into confirmed cases at a later date?

I wonder how exactly the swab test works? If tested too early, say, if any of the 47 classmates just caught the virus from the girl, will the swab test come out negative but say 7 days later, when symptoms start showing, go for swab again, may become positive?

do u think it's safe to travel this December?
My family has been planning for our holidays at least half a year ahead till COVID sets in & cancelling all our bookings for June & Sept. So long as there no reliable vaccine as yet, we’re holding our horses expected to be ano year at least.

Meantime, reviewing our old photos & videos together with Youtube travels with MIL recently. We wanted to take her for trips after FIL’s demised, but thankful despite no travel & CB she’s keeping healthy mentally & emotionally whilst we drop in once a week with our cooking & baking.

I’m anticipating after COVID, there’ll be enormous pant up demands for travels & prices will shoot sky high.
