If LKC medicine release the wait list outcome in mid july then again it is very late because the offered student need to apply for NS disruption( if male) and wait for that result and again if no NS disruption given ?. NUS already processed the wait list 2 weeks ago but LKC takes very long time or no spot until now?

i think you can email lkc to ask them about the movement of the waitlist, but with ref to previous years, those on waitlist who get offered typically receive offers in early-mid july.

Just do not pin too much hope in the wait. It would be a blessing for those who is able to get offered after waiting.

I have corresponded with them twice and they are unable to provide a definite timeline for the outcome. The reply was that they will expedite it soonest by mid July.

It will be a bonus for those getting it as I suspect the vacancy could be very small.

Do not give up hope. Even as the medical check ups and sureties submissions are being done this week, there are some uncertainties for the NS disruption for those boys whose BMT were delayed due to Covid19 and are in the midst of BMT now.

Please note that wrt to disruption, there are going to be waves. It's not just one batch.

For eg, the Jan batch would MOSTLY have gotten their disruption offers signed already. The April batch will get theirs later on after they have POP from BMT (as this is a requirement for disruption). There will then probably for another batch for a smaller group that might only get their medicine offers later on in the year (waitlisted students).

For waitlist of NUS/NTU medical student, you need to wait patiently, it could take very long time. Because there is NS disruption factor for boys.
This year, due to Covid-19, the NS Enlistment dates for some batches were delayed, My DS is on February Batch and he has not received any information about NS disruption. Before settle all the NS disruption matters, the hope for waitlist are going to stay.
As shared by Ngfamrox and Seya, the med schools will most likely have vacancies from the NS boys who were offered but are unable to obtain disruption for this year and those who decline the disruption offer (maybe due to unfavourable terms). The April batch should POP in early July. Due to Covid19, this year's waitlist is moving later than prior years due to (among other reasons) the late enlistment of the April batch.

I just managed to get through LKC. They are waiting for the NS disruption outcomes for the male enlistees. There is a number of NS males are offered for medicines and MINDEF is finalising the offers. Please don’t call MINDEF to rush the process.

As the admission team explained, both meds school are waiting for the enlistees disruption outcome and there could be a possible chance that enlistees might not be disrupted to read medicines as of this year. They may push to read medicine either next year or following year depending on their ORD dates. The team were not able to give us the timeline on when MINDEF will be done for this process. However, the admission team is very certain that so long your child has not receive any email from the admission team of NTU stating that they are rejected from the waitlist, you can just rest assured that your child could be offered based on their waitlist.

Another point that I have spoken to the team about the waitlisted offers that it may extend beyond mid-July 2020 before the start of the orientation programme in LKC. Waitlisted students don’t have to worry about this for now as from the admission team in LKC and added on YLL that NS enlistees offered for medicine are waiting for disruption letter.

Nevertheless, we have till July for the overall outcome. For now, just take it easy and breathe a little and good things will come eventually for the waitlisted students. We have braved through circuit breakers and phase 1 during this period and surely enough we can just wait a little longer for them to finalise.

Congrats! May I check whether it was from YLL or LKC waitlist?
