Thanks for all the feedback. I'll try to get mine tomorrow, and see how we like them. For breathability, I find the bedsheet material ones the best, though maybe not so high in protection. But as long as we stay away from crowded places and others are also masked, I think the difference is not great.

This morning, I heard on radio about 2 students being confirmed cases of Covid. One is a 15yo girl from East Spring Sec, but for the other 13yo, MOH did not disclose the school. Wonder why.

BTW, starting from today, my DD1 was asked to wear a mask during PE! Is the Covid situation in school worsening?
yah, i din recall hearing news on TV too.
my staff told me yest morn, then i search on 8 world( chinese) n see it .
should tell people mah... esp it is infected students

with ALL students going back , i think it is added measure to get all mask up.

community cases these 3 days is up again in abt 10 😞

Are they the same type as the last time? I find them too thick and uncomfortable, and prefer to stick to my own homemade cotton masks. I'll pass mine to my daughter to bring back to the UK (she may like the thickness!).
Just opened up my pack of 2 new masks...
I prefer these to the 1st two govt-given batches.

            - first free mask was basically just thin cloth & feels like there's no protection
            - second batch was very thick & feels tight; v tough to breathe, so never use
            - this new one has adjustable straps, average thickness so it should be able to fit more people & is more comfy

Hi, mine wore the reusable off-white mask (this latest distribution's) in school the whole morning, & finds it definitely More Breathable. The loops (long even for my big-face kid) may need to be adjusted so that they don't keep swinging distractingly against the ears.

I just collected mine. They seem quite OK though the fabric is rather stiff. On the other hand, that could make them cooler. Yes, the loops seem very long!

The machine I went to last night was still working - barely! Only 1 section appeared on the display as still having masks. A few others were marked as \"sold out\" even though we could clearly see the masks still there! A lot of people must have collected the masks already as most of the sections were empty. Hopefully it will be restocked and reset today.
