The next three phases will likely set your mind at ease. Waterway has practically zero Phase 2A1, ~50 Phase 2A2 and minimal Phase 2B

      some alternative view here.

if the 2A2 applicant is around 28-30, the potential applicant number seem to exceed the available by around 10%. it remain to be seen if the new sch will take some pressure off the potential balloting, this year punggol view dropped 40 spots as well. look like punggol view and waterway will join the 4 other school here that will be full by 2C.

2A2 is those MOE kindergarten, only 28-30? I not sure how many class of K2 they have inside though.[/quote]we dont really need to guess. the phase will be out in a couple of weeks.

Around the area, the 2A2 application ranges around 30-60+ for those school with MK.

Except for 2012 (first year) and last year, Punggol View has always been full by 2C, so there shouldn’t be any surprise there.

Waterway may ballot, but it won’t be < 1km. The schools that shared its catchment off <1km includes:
                  1. Mee Toh
                  2. Horizon
                  3. Greendale
                  4. Oasis
                  5. Edgefield
                  6. Punggol View

Way too many options, with MTS and Horizon taking away most of the oxygen.

based on current take up rate and reduction in numbers for punggol view and horizon (as compared to 2019), punggol view and punggol cove intake number is also lesser than 2018. need the new school to absorb the numbers, valour took 60% on its first year, northshore need to take up certain number in order for the 4 mentioned and MTS and waterway to escape balloting. Maybe oasis also will have some form of balloting this year.

usually when there is a balloting needed, its usually within 1km.

Hmmz, i called up the school and check, they tell me the MK intake is UP to 160. But with some students already registered in phase 1 as they have elder sibling in the school already. Hopefully the phase 1 will take up most spot for those in MK
