2020 P1 Registration Exercise for 2021 In-take

Hi all,

I am quite puzzle with the vacancies count in phase 2B, e.g. Tampines Primary School, in Phases 2A(2), the vacancy available is 75, # of Applicant is 33 (as of 23 July). The vacancy in Phase 2B, plus 20 reserved, should be 62. But the vacancy shows is 41 instead. Is my calculation wrong?

Half the vacancies goes to 2b and half to 2c

Mathematical calculation

75-33=42

42 split half = 21 for 2B and 21 for 2C and add the reserve numbers. of 20. so its 41 for 2B and 41 for 2C.

btw if you are applying in 2B, this is a sure in as there are usually less than 5. but if you are applying for 2C. the eventual vacancy number roughly is 80 this year (any left over from 2B will go to 2C).

This year Tampines Primary till 2A2 TUR is the highest at 54%, most probably 2C no chance for PR.

This year Tampines Primary till 2A2 TUR is the highest at 54%, most probably 2C no chance for PR.

Think Tampines Pri TUR is 61% until 2A2. It looks more likely to be a case of balloting within 1km for PR unless Junyuan can take some heat off. Btw you should also keep a look out for Junyuan, added places with lower take up in 1 and 2A2. PRs need to be nimble, slot in when you see opening.

Junyuan nornally has lower vacancies left but this year Tampines Pri has the same vacancies. Both are 1-2km away. The applicants# is not update till the phase closed, definitely a lot of uncertainty.

Hi all, I’ve submitted my child application for phase 2B but now I change my mind and would like to withdraw, I’m not planning to register another school in phase 2B but will only register again in 2C. Anyone can please advise how can I withdraw the application?
