2b is always a non event for SD. i have 106 available flashing in my head for 2C , just cannot get past of the 135 applied SD in 2018 how many is within 1km SC (its balloting for PR within 1km that year)

I have never analysed the numbers before but I want to say this.
I can apply sd and nc under phase 2b and I have register nc under phase 2b yesterday...
when I see the stats for nc, I went hysterical coz I was afraid I lost my chance at my 2nd choice school, i.e. sd as I worried if I apply under phase 2c for sd, I may not get it.... for both sd and nc, I am within 1-2km...
so I am now stuck here, whether I should withdraw nc and re-apply sd under phase 2b as i am v afraid I cannot get into sd under phase 2c... I don't mind taking a shot at nc under phase 2b if I know I will confirm get in sd under phase 2c...
why I am so worried is bc, I scare both of my options will be gone if on hindsight, I should just apply sd under phase 2b... Would I stand a chance at springdale for phase 2c?
Could anyone help explain how was the take-up rate of 52% derived for 82 applicants compared to 70 vacancies? not very sure how TUR can help parents in planning *blur*

1) If NC 1-2km balloted out in 2B, and SD 1-2km balloted out in 2C, do you have a sure-in 2CS school you are happy with?
If yes, you do have a happy-2CS, then skip Q2.
If no, go to Q2.
2) Why in the first place, do you prefer NC to SD? Is it just the name? My friend’s daughter, was badly (mentally) bullied in NC because she is not clever, she is now in Sec 1 NA. Her younger brother enjoys NC because he is good in his work. Another friend’s son failed at 1km 2C NC ballot, the son went to Anchor Green 2CS, now pirmary 2, very happy. Said it was a blessing in disguise. My point is, the name is only a name. -
Ok if we view it objectively, most people will want a taste of popularity if it is not too risky to take. Else as per say, i do believe every school is a good school, as long as you are learning something along the way.

i am very appreciative to all those who have responded and shared their views… i guess, it is my duty to try my best to try to get my child into the best school possible… nc was recognised as one of the better school in SK as u can see from past balloting… surely this school must have its own merits that warrant so many parents fighting for a place…
update: nc has called me that i do not have a chance for balloting… hence i have withdrawn my application and resubmit a new one today… do note that if a parent wishes to withdraw, they still need to email the school to inform the withdrawal as the school need to issue a withdraw letter in order for the new school to accept in system… (i just went through the withdrawal process via email as the new school called me that NC need to withdraw in the system) -
At least 72 SC within 1km. That is really something

Its good that NC called you up, there is no wrong of what you are doing. Parents would want the best for the children. That's why we are \"station\" here to support the parents who need help.

Will be enrolling my son for Phase 2C soon. We are contemplating between North Vista and Rivervale.
NVPS - we are within 1 km and based on 2B results there shld be abt 135 vacancies so shld be able to get in. But looking through the school website it seems quite limited in areas like CCAs
Rivervale - school offerings seem more impressive and we’ve heard good reviews but of coz it’s more popular and we are in the 1-2 km category. Based on 2B results there shld be ard 127 vacancies left.
Question is which shld we go for? Will we have a chance for Rivervale? -
