Hi, there are too many students who got into 2nd round and school can’t possibly open 2 more classes for these students. Furthermore, the direction from MOE is to remove the class ranking.

Over the years, the observation is the top 10 students remain the top, although some changes in the ranking. P5 overall % is well above 95%. Impressive and consistent performance! Even without “special treatment”, it is almost guaranteed that they will do extremely well in PSLE. PSLE score in high 260 to above 280 range is a norm.

There are also others who did not get into round 2 but progress along the way whereas some who got into round 2 due to early preparation (what were tested in round 1 are mainly syllabus work, nothing much out of the box) but performance dropped in P5-P6. It all depends.

I think this is common in all schools. The top students will always remain in the top. But what parents should consider is if these top students score so well BECAUSE of the school and teachers or is it because of external help (parents, tutors). Of course, the kids' effort too...

When you are given the exam paper at the exam hall, before you even start commence writing,

please check that

the invigilator had given you the correct right PSLE paper

BECAUSE

this accident took place in September, and according to the Report below, the Pei Chun primary school student

was NOT allowed to re-sit for the correct paper


If for any reason, you had been given the WRONG PSLE paper, immediately raise your hands high up, to alert the invigilator at the scene

If take Wrong paper, dont do well, this will affect your entry into Secondary school,
this being the final, last batch of P6 students to enter Secondary schools, by PSLE Tscore

Just want to check. If i have joined Pei Chun Alumni. Do i still need to do any volunteering work and donation for any upcoming event or etc? Or i can just wait for the correct timing for registration for my son?

Probably just wait for Phase 2A1 to register. Need to get a letter from the Alumni before registration.
If Alumni need you to do other contributions, you need to check with them.

Donation is entirely voluntary. Once you sign up for the alumni and pay your dues, you will not be denied a place for Phase 2A1.
