I know vacancy is 25. I know <1km SC need to ballot. just donno how many <1km SC competed for the 25 vacancy?

Upto about 3PM on the last day, the numbers were more to ASCP and ACSJ had better chance
then lots thought better chance in ACSJ and swung there, causing a huge uptick in numbers making ACSJ odds worse.
It was quite ironic
same will happen in 2C too... -
What was the source of info? Called school personally? Or relied on 2nd, 3rd hand info (possibly fake) posted on WhatsApp group?

Based on what MOE published after 2B closed, these were the stats with no distances known, so quite sure that isn't right for 1km. Can't be that there are more 1km applicants than the TOTAL.

Assume all are <1km. Most church members are prepared to move. And they have. Source: word of mouth.

but the numbers were delayed (due to the system and the acsj admins being somehow slower than acsp), as a result huge wave came over from acsp with this \"outdated\" information thinking that ACSJ has much lesser applicants than acsp, resulting in a very bad situation for acsj students
same will likely happen for phase 2c. the ACSJ admins are not as garang as the ones in ACSP. -

50[/quote]The thing is you should assume all within 1km, there is no reason for others to waste their chance (more than 1km) to enrol when they know its balloting within 1km. (Yes there are such parents, but numbers should be low). -

If you already set your mind in one, and you may have only 1 choice, the best approach is not see anything else and wait for the SMS. 17 Aug is a long way.

just checked with barker, all 39 applicant's within 1km, all sporean citizens!

39 applications and all within 1km citizens
Like I said, I am going to apply for acsj even with a 10:1 ratio. If I don't get in, it's god's will. Have to settle for my second choice (which is a distant second), what to do.
