😢 just got sms unsuccessful at PHASE 2C. Like to ask what is the next steps and usually what are best options? We currently are working oversea won’t be back till 2022. Since we won’t be attending school till 2022 can we ask to be waiting list for the school we wanted? Or dead dead have to select from the list of school that have vacancies??
Whether you choose to waitlist or otherwise, you will need to register in a school first. Therefore, you will need to register in Phase 2CS. The process is similar to Phase 2C.

      After which, you will:
      1. Waitlist at the school you want
      2. Apply for LOA at the balloted / applied primary school
There's no guarantee that the waitlist school will have place for you in 2022. Hence, you will still need to report / attend the balloted / applied primary school from Phase 2CS.

You can apply anywhere in Singapore... But at 2CS it's better to look for nearer schools that can avoid balloting... Home-school distance still comes into play and you will be disadvantaged if the school you choose is far away.

Now my problem is my flat is at ghim moh but we plan to move closer to my mum at Bedok when we move back. So thinking if we should apply for east side now instead.

Option 1 - ST Stephen’s School still have vacancies but problem its a boy school and I still have a 2018 gal was hoping she can follow her brother school next time to avoid all the balloting next time.

Option 2 - Canossa Catholic Primary School (limited vacancies)

Options 3 - continue try my Henry park which we didn’t get selected.

All the experts here what’s ur advise for such a situation?

Congrats and welcome to the club! Buzz me when you receive your son’s class allocation (should be around Oct/Nov). If you can’t find your class WhatsApp group, I’ll ask around the older mums cos they may have formed with their Phase 1 kakis already.[/quote]
Thanks for the offer! I will!
time to celebrate! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah: :imcool: :imcool:

You don't have option 3 cos Henry Park is already full and won't be available at 2CS...

I'm no expert... My personal opinion is Option 2 is too tight with only 8 seats left, so highly likely will go into balloting, which will work against you who are so far away... Option 1 is safer and it's a school with affiliation.

Since you will only return to SG in 2022, your registration in the next phase (Phase 2CS) is merely an admin procedure. Just do it. After securing the seat (anywhere) in 2CS, then you can seek an official transfer after you return. Who knows, maybe by then HPPS will have vacancies opening up? U can waitlist there if u wish, it is never guaranteed of course.

It makes sense to pick a 2CS school near Bedok if that’s where you’re gonna move to when you return.

These are the Bedok co-ed schools that will have vacancies left in 2CS. Please do the Math yourself. All have good chance. Just get it over with.

                    - Bedok Green Primary School (154 - 23 = ?)
                    - Damai Primary School (131 - 37 = ?)
                    - Telok Kurau Primary School (170 - 50 = ?)

Anyone applied via Online Form application (not by SingPass) and got a place after balloting?

                        Hi zac's mum and AT2305,

Currently my family is in a very similar situation as AT2305, except only the mother and son are in overseas. Very unfortunately it was an unsuccessful balloting, did not mange to get in KCPPS, we are the 25%. We got no choice but to go Guangyang Primary.

Could you kindly explain further on the part \"then you can seek an official transfer after you return\"? do i have to write to MOE? like write or call them every year? every month?

Also where can i get the wishlist from for that specific school? is it a form or must write in? to the school or MOE?

                        Thank you
