May I know why NCPS is so popular? I could not find any information that could say why NCPS is more popular than the others except it is already oversubscribed every year.

And why Sengkang Green Primary is not in the list?

This list / thread is pretty old and some recent schools are not updated. Hence, SK Green is not in the list.

As for NCPS, if you have to ask, you’ll never know. If you know, you need only ask.

1. Anchor Green < 1km - seems high chance of balloting, already oversubscribed on 1st day
2. Palm View 1-2km - seems like no balloting required but maybe too early to say?

Any advice or feedback on these 2 schools? Why are there so much fewer applicants for Palm View compared to previous years?

2. Palm view has lower take up as some other schools are MK. Palm view intake is usually 240 except for 2018 which was increased to 270 and this year 280. So the take up this year is more than last year at the same point.

Fernvale will be full first then followed by palm view.

Riding on again, I read this article https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/2020-p1-registration-for-2021-intake-balloting-probability/ and wondering if the probability for Palm View would still be accurate (that there is a probability Palm View will be balloting for >2km) cos it seems that there is 153 child balloted out of Nan Chiau and Palm View is within 1km?

The bulk probably is 1-2km of Palm View.
