Helpful parents thanks for responding!! After reading your responses. I rechecked the paper. Seems that the paper was scaled down when printed. Phew! I was wondering what happened to my rulers, so the problem was my eyesight!

Parents with kids who are relatively weaker in CL may want to consider getting these ready made flash cards for drilling of textbook syllabus text - esp. useful for 1st and 2nd sections of Paper 2 Booklet A.

May i know any books to recommend to keep practicing for Maths paper 1. Most books focus on Paper 2.
Ds always have mistakes on Paper 1
1. Careless mistakes. Questions that you tell him to relook again and immediately he knows where he gone wrong.
2. Mistakes that you give a little prompt and immediately he knows how to do.

Hi, my own personal tip. Cos my boy was also similar. Rushing thru but when I told him answer is wrong, he will go back and look carefully, spot where he went wrong & get it correct himself.

Doesn’t really matter got Paper 1 book or not. Just use any assessment book or past year papers & ask him do the Paper 1 section only. Need to train the routine of doing slowwwwly & carefully & accurately. Slow it down first. Later on when he is all correct for Paper 1, then you can set the timer to train faster speed for PSLE timing. -

Just to share, my DS behaves the same and he doesn’t check his work. Only during exam time, then he will double check. He just can’t slow down no matter how I nagged. So what I do is that I give him 1hr to finish paper 1, and he will usually finished in 30-40mins, then I give it back to him and ask him to check through 1 round before giving it to me for marking. It kinds of help him practise the routine of checking upon completion since he thinks he is careful while doing the question. -

Thanks for the above info. The lack of certainty, even in a month's time is quite stressful. Will pray that all our P6 kids will stay healthy so they don't have to go for swab test to take the PSLE.

Not sure about good Math tutor, but I think those \"popular\" tuition/enrichment centres like Mindstretcher/The Learning Lab might have those PSLE revision crash courses. However, I don't know if they are good or effective for your DC's needs.
