Thanks. Just curious, Are the answer keys provided are given to the top class in respective schools? Coz, some answer keys for science OEQ sounds very simple / only one point or one line. My DS school teacher, as well as enrichment centre teacher, expects answers more detailed.

don't trust the answers, from these free test papers downloaded from internet or from push-cart seller selling at heartland mall / shopping mall,

because

don't know whether answers come from the students themselves, or from who ?

(you know, what I mean ?)

The best is
Ask your child to write down the Open-ended answer directly underneath the Science question, collate all these qn, then ask his or her primary school's Science class Teacher, to review (comment) what your P6 son or daughter had written, correctly phrased or not ?

If too many OE Science questions to ask, need to narrow down, ask Tr those critical ones first

I understand my child's sch covers emails n letters but don think got report done. And havent seen past yr psle qns on REPORT too.

You're right, we haven't seen any Reports for PSLE before. But still it's suppose to be part of their syllabus. I think the format is exactly like a Letter (formal), but ends off with \"Reported by: (full name)\" instead of the \"Yours sincerely, or Yours faithfully,\". Best to confirm with school teacher or maybe your DC school doesn't teach because they know unlikely that it will come out.

At this point, we don't seem to have a lot of choices from Popular. We've always had the English Oral Booster and Listening Comprehension (EPH) and recently we found one by Casco (yellow book) for Oral and Listening in Popular, but so far my DS hasn't finished all the practices yet.

Can I please check with experienced PSLE parents…


My DS is from a neighbourhood school, and when I compare his prelims papers to that of the top school prelim papers recently, I found that all his papers were much easier. Does anyone know if it’s still accurate to take 0.7 to 0.75 to calculate his T score, or will easy papers be "off the charts". Also wanted to know how do the parents arrive at this 0.7 to 0.75 range.
