How to apply? Any mum whose aged parents living in a nursing or old folks home, pls PM me.

      Thanks
my grandmother is in a nursing home. it depends on what level of assistance the elderly requires. if bed ridden, then he/she will be in level 4 which is the most expensive. her home is at ama keng. my aunts went to different places to check out hygiene level before deciding on this place. food wise, there are 3 main meals and the food is not bad. there is a cook at the home. it's quite noisy though with planes flying low, as it is near tengah airbase.

          Starlight,
my grandmother didn't manage to get subsidized rate but my aunt's MIL is also staying there and under subsidy...have to go through means test which really rattled all the family members with questions asked.

            Hi there!

We are a group of students from NUS working on a project for our entrepreneurship module and we're looking to find out more about the difficulties that caregivers face when taking care of the elderly.

We have prepared a survey to gather insights on caregivers' challenges as well as possible solutions to these challenges.

We would like to ask for your help to reach out to people who have elderly at home to complete the survey as part of our market research. (Link below)

All responses in the survey are confidential and will be kept anonymous. No personal information will be collected. Thank you for your help and time!

              Hi There,

Do you know of any websites/forums that gives reviews of Nursing Homes? Need to pick one to help my mum recover from her fractured leg (she’s in hospital now) until it is load-bearing. She’s greatly overweight and needs 2 persons to help her change adult diapers. I’m also hoping to find one that can help manage her diet so that she can slim down, plus one that can give her physical therapy so her leg can recover in strength faster.

              Thanks in advance!
