Hi , I think both kids studying in same sch is the best.. many things need to consider if you want both go affiliate sch..
If girl go chij, then boy go dls..how about secondary ? Boy go sji then girl go theresa convent?? Very inconvenient..

I think just make sure they are OK, study in nearby sch, then go to better class, shd be ok?

That is my concern too. I will try to arrange them in the same primary school if we don’t go for famous school. For secondary school, separate them should be alright.

If we move within 1km of SJI, what is best backup for 2Cs and it is co-educated. Pls share your thoughts.


First Toa Payoh, Farrer Park, Bukit Timah, Guangyang, cedar which one is good in terms of academic and caring.

You may try 2C within 2km of SMPS and also at the same time within 1km of SJIJ. Back up choice for SJIJ (in 2Cs) will be farrer park for distance or St Stephen for affiliation. SJIJ is good chance not confirmed chance, may need some balloting. You may fall under 1km of ACSJ but that is a confirmed ballot so i wont suggest you move to a confirmed balloting option.

I just check SMPS, looks easy to go in and have an affiliation too but it is near Aljunied. I feel that environment near there is quite complex.

2CS mostly comparable. Bukit Timah is the more popular choice, usually ballot >2km in 2CS

Hope can join GRL la :xedfingers:[/quote]I think Davischew point is you need to fulfill the 2 years requirement prior to application (1 July 2022). As of now, you are late and even if there’s a vacancy and you are being accepted, you won’t meet the timeline for Phase 2B endorsement.
