Yes, it's challenging! To complete a good compo within 50mins, writing specific to pics given with power phrases is not easy! Btw, what is a reasonable volume or rather how many pages (400 words per page) does ur dd write? My girl wrote 5.5 pages!!! Her school prelim compo paper is 400 per page but she told me the psle is 300 per page. I scolded her for writing so much but she say can't help as the story got lotsa details, if not she cannot cover all description. She finish just a minute or so before time. -

For Psle Standard Chinese (paper 1) " kan tu " zuowen ,
minimum 3.5 pages expected.
(2.5 to 3 ) pages is considered short
