Aren't all of the Year 1 students at DHS in IP Program (whether enter by DSA or S1)? I thought there was only 1 track for students starting at Sec 1 (plus there is some entry at JC1 level via JAE).

There is a 2020 Class List on the school's website under Announcements. Total Year 1 class size seems to be a little over 300.

Hi hi, I am exploring DH as one of the 6 choices for my child’s S1 posting and I’m staying near Tiong Bahru MRT. Wondering if any existing students staying around here too, the best route via MRT/direct bus, duration to fro etc.... appreciate reply🙏🏻😊

I think most students will walk from Mountbatten MRT, cutting through the HDB neighbourhood to the backgate near the Library. The walk is about 10+min. Some may take bus 158 from Mountbatten MRT to the school front gate. The new Katong Park MRT on Thomson-East Coast line is slated to complete in 2023 (not sure if it will be delayed due to the Covid) is around 250m away from the front gate. Hope this helps.

Yorkie, you can consider taking 196. It will take about 40 mins to reach DHS.
