Hi hi, I am exploring DH as one of the 6 choices for my child’s S1 posting and I’m staying near Tiong Bahru MRT. Wondering if any existing students staying around here too, the best route via MRT/direct bus, duration to fro etc.... appreciate reply🙏🏻😊

I think most students will walk from Mountbatten MRT, cutting through the HDB neighbourhood to the backgate near the Library. The walk is about 10+min. Some may take bus 158 from Mountbatten MRT to the school front gate. The new Katong Park MRT on Thomson-East Coast line is slated to complete in 2023 (not sure if it will be delayed due to the Covid) is around 250m away from the front gate. Hope this helps.

Yorkie, you can consider taking 196. It will take about 40 mins to reach DHS.
