This is encouraging; better than no protection

I do hope the vaccine is available and safe SOON…it’s really tiring to wear a mask.

It will surely be a while before the majority of the population will be eligible. In the early part of next year, I think only front-line workers and the most vulnerable will get it. The rest of us may have to wait much longer.

Agree. It has alr been announced that only the frontline staff will get the vaccines as they’re most exposed to covid risks, as they care for those needing health caring.

We shld still keep vigilant masks, hygiene & social distancing. The economy needs to recover & so thankful SG is opening up for for bz travel, family visits & others fr high risks countries are required to pre-trip testings. The economy shld rebound by next year. Hope those who lost jobs will quickly pick up new skills for the new economy & receive training for next long haul lap. We all need to adjust.

I find it stuffy wearing masks esp in non-aircon places, so try to stay within aircon areas but once home, R&R.

I'm fussy about masks - I mainly use simple cotton ones for short trips out, and I use the white ones given by Temasek and the NDP ones for longer days out. I avoid the thick ones. But I also try to stay in aircon places most of the time.

Yes, I’m using the cotton masks. Can’t take those fabric “Equivalent N95” masks either tho it’s light.

Despite recent good news on vaccines, we cannot allow imported cases to rise. We are doing very well on all fronts except imported cases where I wish we have better control and management. Notwithstanding the available information on the media, we are not 100% privy to who and under what conditions people are allowed to come in. We do not know who are these people (do they still publish case by case details on MOH website? I admit that I didn’t check it up for sometime). We are made to understand that these imported cases are transported to place of quarantine directly upon arrival, however, there bound to have interactions between these individuals and third party from the time they arrived till and beyond quarantine. We do not want imported cases to be our weakest link in our covid fight. Tremendous effort and resources were expended to bring dormitories cases under control, now we have to keep an eye on imported cases.
