      Hi Hi,

I have an O-level child looking to go to ACJC/NJC next year. We live in the East and so need some help in terms of bus/transport providers. Does anyone know of some contacts?

The schools are so far from where I live. Am wondering if I should move and rent/buy a place instead?

            You don't need to shift,

            because

these are good A-level JCs, in the east :

            Victoria JC,
            Dunman High ,
            Temasek JC

However, if you are planning far ahead for university years later in local NUS or NTU, then Yes, good to shift nearer

Go uni also no need to shift - just stay in hostel if need be. It’s actually a great experience as many hall programmes have been revamped to integrate residential living and learning.

                  Not worth the precious time.

Do you all know what are the JC cut off points for JAE 2020?

So far confirmed from their websites:
                      RI Science 4, Arts 5
                      HCI Science 4, Arts 5
                      EJC Science 7, Arts 8

Anyone combed other JC websites and saw the COP of them?

                      Here’s a link I found online:
                      https://www.salary.sg/2020/jc-cut-off-points-2020/

                      Thanks for sharing.
Didn’t know EJC Science and Arts COP are now 7 and 8. Climb so fast! :imcool:

Just 2-3 years back , because the JC is new, I recall not many keen to join.

Guys, My friend’s son sat A level this year. He hoping to apply NUS medicine (He confident he can score all As). Before he go army we like him to do some volunteer works which may boost his medical application. Is there any opportunity to do volunteer work? Thanks
