If tie breaker sequence of choice of school not into consideration right?

My DS got 247. Any recommendations? I am considering Bukit Panjang Primary vs SJI O-level.
SJI IP is 4-5 points away.
ACS(I) O level also 5 points away. Any suggestions? -
How did the cohort perform compared to last year? Wonder if the cut off will be raised generally ?

My niece got 205 and is considering New Town, Dunearn, Tanglin, Queenstown, Jurongville. Also Hillgrove thought she is below last year’s COP. Can anyone provide feedback on any of these? Thanks!

No harm trying for Hillgrove though the probability is very low. New Town is alright. -

No, not me doing the coaching. Just being moral support. Her parents and my mum were doing the coaching. Unfortunately, her twin got almost 20 points higher and can stay in the affiliated sec school. Quite sad for them though it may a good thing for this girl in long run.

Hope others can provide feedback about the other schools. I know a friend who teaches at New Town and she's quite positive; so that will probably be the 2nd choice. -

probably still using 4 decimal places to compare between 2 students' scores this year? if so, tie breaker not likely to be required.
