What is \"Is the SIE open or were all spaces taken by CO/WL?\"?
Is the SIE open or were all spaces taken by CO/WL? NUSH targets 250+ and A* in Math/Science so I think it depends on the subject scores.marcolisa\" post_id=\"2004052\" time=\"1606305480\" user_id=\"9017:

Any chance for NUS high?

I think people naturally assumed high scorers should pick RGS because it’s a R school. However, some people might prefer Cedar - last year’s highest scorer for Cedar was actually a 270 pointer.
At the end of the day, it’s a personal choice and both schools are very good schools. -
VS vs Cath High. Which one to choose?

NUS HIGH is only open for DSA I believe. Your girl has a chance for RV but if that does not happen, Nanhua and Commonwealth are nice options that are relatively near your house.marcolisa\" post_id=\"2004052\" time=\"1606305480\" user_id=\"9017:
My DS has 251 + 2
Our choice is
1) RVHS 253
2) Catholic high IP 252
3) or 4) ACS I O level 252
4) or 3) Catholic high O level 249
5) Fairfield 243
6) Nan Hua high 246
Any chance for NUS high?
Any advise for these choices? We staying in Jurong East.
Thanks first. -

I think both schools are good. You may want to travel to both schools to find out how long is your journey to both schools. If your girl is taking public transport, Cedar may not be so convenient as it's quite a long walk from the bus stop. Rgs is about 4 mins walk from Braddell mrt. Rgs has just moved to the new building last year whereas Cedar's building seems older. Rgs is a pure IP school. On the other hand, Cedar has both IP & O level track. O level track is a safety net for IP students in case they don't do well. You can also look at the list of CCAs offered by both schools. After 4 years, the girls will be promoted to RI & VJC. You may want to see which JC is more convenient for you. RI is next to Marymount mrt and VJC is near Marine Parade. (not sure if it's near any future mrt line)
Hi All,

Thanks.
Rgs is an independent school, thus school fees is $340+ ($140+ after ESIS) whereas Cedar is an autonomous sch and school fees is $27+. -
Hi parents…how to check if eligible to do Higher Mother Tongue in Secondary School?

He only A for sci & math, may be no chance[/quote]See below. NUSH fills almost all, if not all, of its seats via DSA. If there are still spaces available after the DSA CO/WL choices are made and allocated, they will open the \"SIE.\" NUSH does not participate in the S1 posting exercise.
