Any one tried to Appeal for review of PSLE result? Any impact or delay in Secondary school place confirmation ?

What’s with the question marks? If you already prefer Kranji after Swiss Cottage, that should be 2nd after Swiss Cottage. No need to engineer an in-between choice if you don’t want to.

3) Clementi 235(3)
4) West spring 225(13)
5) Raffles Girls School
6) Nanyang Girls High

The ?? are meant for any other school recommendation and choices 5 & 6 are not funny at all. You can choose not to reply is you find that it is meaningless for you.

You miss the point completely.

A school choice is entirely an individual’s decision and one man’s meat is another man’s poison. Hence, if you have already decided that these are the 4 choices, you can just go ahead with it. Filling it with someone else’s recommendation because the “COP fits”, is going about doing it the wrong way. What if the school posted to is Heng-Heng (or suay-suay) the other person’s recommendation and it turns out that the child hates it? Who bears the blame and who has to face the consequences?

Given that your 2nd, 3rd and 4th will most definitely accept the child, 5th and 6th choice is redundant. You can fill in with anything you want and it won’t make a difference.

With a score of 251, what would be the best option for IP? I plan to keep below preferences for my kid

Would like to know if St. Joseph’s or Temasek is better for IP?

Victoria School (252 - 275)
St. Joseph’s Institution (Secondary) (251 - 263)
Temasek Junior College (Secondary) ( 250 - 264 )

Also considering O-level for next 3 options, which one is best amongst below? Is ACS Barker preferred over St.Josephs and other schools?

Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) ( 246 - 251 )
St. Joseph’s Institution (Secondary) ( 246 - 255)
St. Andrew’s Secondary School ( 247 - 249)
Anderson Secondary School (245 - 260)

251 is a IP-borderline case, u should try but be mentally prepared for the unexpected.
Temasek and Victoria are A-level based IP whereas SJI is IB-based. U should discuss with ur son about A-level versus IB because they are quite different.
For the O level track, if academics is a priority, go for SJI and Anderson.

ACS Barker does not offer HMTL, as they don't normally get enough cohorts to take HMTL. Please check with the school before choosing. Students have to go to another centre to take HMTL, which could be tiring!!
