Hi Experts here, someone mentioned that MOE/schools would kind of refer to the order of listing as reference should child request for transfer sometime down the road of 4 years due to whatever reasons, is this true?

I'm trying to be as realistic as possible.... my child had done well for this ONE time assessment. It could be just a fluke due to some last minute booster classes he had attended resulting in induced/inflated result, thought he's quite hard working.  Well, there is a possibility that he cmi in a challenging environment as he came from a holistic neighborhood school.

Hehehe... I may be worrying too much but would greatly greatly greatly appreciate adv from some experts here🙏🏻

Ps: DC tscore 270+2, putting HCI as 1st choice

      Hello:
What is this, Congratulation! Your DC is scoring 270. So high....Do you know that not so many kids able to get this even though they tried very hard? For now, nothing to worry about lah... You can always choose lower cut off school (to many of us, still very high) if you think your child is not going to try very hard in HCI..... which you will not do so, right? Once again, have a wonderful Dec holiday,... while many of us still waiting patiently to 22 Dec to get our posting results.

Hi 678yes, thanks for taking the time to text. I was worrying too much😔.  Since Feb I have been way too busy with chores and cooking as few other family members have been working/studying from home.  By the time I was done, I was so exhausted!  I simply had no energy to monitor my child's exam preparation.  So the result came as a surprise to me as we were even preparing mentally for 230-250s.  Letting go is good.  All the best to everyone!

Praying hard for COP not to rise. According to experts here, seems like higher chance that it will rise 😞

Hi Parents, considering to put NJC or ACSI as second choice for ds who scored 258.

Both schools are very good schools.
Heard NJC has a lot more girls than boys.
ACSI is a boy school (ds prefers boy school). But it’s a Methodist school. Is it a problem for free thinkers to be in a Methodist school?
            Thanks.

In a Methodist school in Singapore, students can still think freely... no worries.

What you really need to think of is the difference of IP and IB.

                    Let me re-phrase my question:

Please list down the \"few autonomous schools\" schools that offer Triple Science. Since you mentioned \"few\", you shouldn't have any problem listing the schools here.

I think it’s easier to list the autonomous schools that don’t offer triple science. There are 28 autonomous schools, I suspect at least 20 of them offer triple science.

I think this triple science thing is targeting an older group of market audience or those who ya-ya about being able to study triple science. Frankly, triple science has limited advantages (and losing a humanity subject is a huge disadvantage) these days.

Does anyone know which sch produces better O’level results? More well-behaved pupils ?
                        Clementi Town or Kranji Sec?

                        Thanks !
