Thanks!! Sorry another noob question. What position does one have to hold in CCC or CCMC to qualify for phase 2B? Not possible but just for info 🙊 I understand for RC/NC it’s EM status for 2 years.

Doesn’t matter what position you hold but it’s unlikely (with 99.9% certainty) that you would be accepted into the CCC or CCMC. It’s like walking in to a company and asking to be seated on the Board of Directors.

Must start with the basics - RC / NC (or one of the committee in the CC but those don’t have 2B privilege).

      Correct.

It’s more like kap + old bird
Then got chance join ccc / ccmc.

        Ouch!

The CC and NC/RC are at different places for the same postal code. So should I submit my application to the CC or NC/RC? What’s the difference between the two?

Noted there are other committees like SCEC, WEC etc, all those don’t count?

Just submit to CC, they will contact you and you can ask questions.

Jus checking if I served Marine Parade GrC under joo Chiat constituency after becoming EM, I move to other constituency within the same grc. So before phrase 2B registration can my letter be written from Joo Chiat constituency? Am I also allowed to transfer my service from one constituency to another under the same grc?

Letter will be for your current served RC/NC, and schools will be based on your current residence. You can check with your chairman for switching to other RC/NC.

But once I moved address it will be changed to other constituency will I still be able to continue serving my previous RC/NC or I should be transferred to the new constituency based on my new address where my EM status got to restart being an observer? As such, can the letter be coming from my previous RC/NC to apply to the school near my new address?

Assuming your new address is in a different grc.

Once shifted house, nric must change address.

In your previous rc, pa will have the new address within a few days. You will be classified as a non-resident em. Chairman can allow you to continue as em or demote you to am, thus freeing up the em slots for others. Sack? I am not sure. See relationship ba.

Of course, you can always be an em at your new place. Provided the chairman at your new place wants you. Em or observer or what - no fixed rules.

Just check with your chairman. I have lots of non-resident EM (with appointments) in my RC.

                        RC - public housing
NC - private estate or private housing
