The offer of 4 free swim%20lessons for $100 plus $55 for mandatory equipment seems like a good opportunity to try a different program. However, be aware that the \"free\" lessons are actually a deposit for stoppage notices, which is a common practice to ensure commitment. swimmingcourses.sg/free…
Before changing coaches, consider:
1. Discussing your concerns with the current instructor
2. Observing other classes or programs
3. Checking reviews and testimonials from other parents
Remember, swimming is a life skill, and patience is crucial. With the right program and consistent practice, your son will likely make progress. The most important factors are safety, enjoyment, and gradual skill development.
For more detailed information on policies and programs, the website swimmingcourses.sg appears to be a valuable resource. It's worth exploring to understand the various options available for your son's swimming education.

I accidently joined a swimming club without actually looking I sent my 4yo kid to learn swimming with 4 other kids in a swimming pool in Paya Lebar (where the Shell Club used to be at) and when they shut down the place, the coach told me to go to the swimming pool at RI in Bishan instead. So I went there and was stunned. At 7pm everyday, they will just let the kids swim lengths of the pool by themselves under the watchful eyes of the coach standing at the end of the pool. You can just go as many times as you want. Being the competitive me, I went like everyday and within a few months, my son was swimming like a fish including butterfly
Hi,
our p1 child is now with swim alliance. May I know if anyone has any review on that? We are looking at improving the swim timings. Thank you.
He got all his swimming certificates before he was 6yo.

I don't know why all the parents staying in Sengkang and Hougang are dumb or stupid or ignorant or what? If your kids are 3, 4, 5, 6, years old, they are simply too young to learn swimming, the most is you can do is to play water with them. Why do Sengkang parents want to put their children with some stupid charlatan swim schools there. All I can see, the toddlers and kids just wear arm float and back float, waddling in the pool, doing nothing, and yet parents are willing to waste that kind of money, willing to get cheated by those dumb fark swim schools in Sengkang. Like Fi***** Ch***, Sw*****se, Kr** S*** Sc****, Stt*****, Ja**, ....etc.. you name it. I think nowadays parents are getting dumber and dumber, know how to give birth but don't know how to parent and educate children.
Dear all parents, if you want your children to learn, please put them in Clubs. NOT those stupid charlatan swim schools who keep advertising themselves on Instagram and Facebook but their COACHES totally have NO SUBSTANCE and you are just wasting your money!!
To choose a good coach, go and take a look at the government SportSG official page at
https://www.activesgcircle.gov.sg/nrep/find-a-coach
Or personally go down to any pools and find suitable coaches teaching there, and ask if you can enroll your child with them.

It is always full class regardless of sport, so just go with your child's interest.
Hi, may I seek your advice on the considerations in choosing the JSA sports modules? My child likes quite a few sports within one bucket so I want to help him choose. I heard certain sports have a lot of kids and coaches cannot pay much attention to each (like badminton). Is it true?
Also, he likes Table Tennis but isn’t it too late to pick it up and show potential?
Thanks in advance!
Personally known of someone who picked up table tennis during JC 1 & represented school team in NSG.

Hi, yesterday I just brought my girl 6 yrsold to trial Artistic Gymnastic. She was having so much fun and the coach said she has the potential to go into competitive. The one we went to is not very reputable, I guess. Anyone can recommend a good gym school in SG? And prefer to know abit of their fee rates as well. As this is an expensive sports in long run. Many thanks
