      Dear Parents,

just check registration with caregiver’s address (<1km of the school)
      1) if balloting is required, will we be balloted together with those residents living between1km to 2km of the school? instead of balloting together with residents living<1km.

or means we will be calculated as 2km distance since using the caregiver's address.

      2) If the caregiver’s address is successfully used for priority admission, is required to live at the caregiver’s address for 30 months from the start of P1 registration?

      thanks in advance.
Yes, only considered as 1-2km, and ballot 1-2km only. If successful, it’s not to stay at caregiver, it means it has to be “cared for” by caregiver. Example fetching to and fro school etc, and caregiver cannot move during the 30 months

          Hi Parents,

We are SC <1km to the following schools:
          1) Alexandra Primary School
          2) River Valley Primary School
          3) Zhangde Primary School

Would like to know the odds of getting into RVPS and ALPS at P2C. Thanks!

Less than 1km is safe. 🙂

Are you sure? Safe as in at least you get the chance to go through balloting?

ALPS and RVPS usually ballot for SC < 1km.
Zhangde usually ballots for PR, ie if you don’t choose the school for Phase 2C, there are unlikely seats leftover for Phase 2CS.

Yes. Worse case is ballot for SC <1km.

I see. So, we have a different understanding of the word \"safe\". To me, safe means my child can definitely get into the school.
