          Simple.

Apply Cedar. Because you have ZERO chance at Hong Wen.

Hi gurus, our girl is 2016 girl which will be due for P1 registration in 2023. We plan to enroll her for RGPS under 2B. We are staying out of 2km. Based on recent years stat, i think it looks quite safe until i see the chart from KSP today in this link

            https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/2020-p1-registration-for-2021-intake-balloting-probability/?fbclid=IwAR2ZesZfy7Fyy_5RgAfkU9lfq77WjfrikEaHw2OaLPEzniaxLHpZfnuIA98

showing green 0.01 under 2B in which green refers to likely to ballot outside 2km. Does that mean we need to reconsider our plan?

You are due to register in 2022. I think it's still very safe for >2km in 2B, no ballot required for the past few years.

If you are 100% sure of getting that 2B endorsement, you can consider moving nearer. Otherwise, you have to take your chance at balloting or consider another school.

                  Hi Parents,

My daughter is a PR born in 2019. I’m thinking of changing houses. I’m open to any location which will give me a good chance to apply her into a good primary school. But being PR with no affiliation, most of the top schools are impossible.

Are there any good schools with a better chance of admission? Can you please suggest some schools I can shortlist?
Want an overall school which is good in academics as well as extra curriculum activities. Any religion ok.

                    Hi BabySparkles2019,

For girls, these schools come to my mind. There are certainly several more, which am sure all the other experienced shifus here would be happy to advise.

                    Marymount Convent
                    CHIJ Kellock
                    St. Margaret Primary School

Study the stat several years back. shortlist all schools with all in in phase 2B and beyond. Try to get yourself into 2B phase eligibility either PV, GRC, Church clan and etc., that may increase your chance. 2C a bit hard since you are competing with SC and PR are not the priority. SC will surely source for good school as well.

Thanks, I will be trying for 2B, but that’s not guaranteed. Some schools also needs to ballot for 2B. Any good schools easier to get PV for 2B?

Also, any recommendations for co-ed primary schools?
