Yeah I read abt the show so I thought seeing this second gen acting skills etc…yeah leeyl , then got hooked up… never had maid but I think this is a good show to bring us see another perspective…so poor thing…bride/maid, imagine the feeling of need to stay in a foreign home and a foreign country…

Yes, supermarkets are generally packed. But mood is generally muted. Most of the takeaways and goodies are still available, unlike previous years when most are sold out.

Generally lesser varieties and quantities brought in this year.

CNY mood is definitely muted with the 8 person max per household.
usually parents' place is where all meet up, but it's not possible this year...so it's either this aunt's family comes or another one and either brother or my family goes there.

I just caught the repeat of The Star Bride on channel 8 this morning at 8am. This episode was quite hilarious.

Prepared the new red packets, washed the toilets and cleaned ceiling fans, washed bedsheets etc , freezer is still quite full but will top it up to the brim tmr or next couple of days.

Haha, me too, thought it was 大婶. So I thought they were related. Gradually I realised she was under her mercy and then i realised it should be 大神.

I find 高公子 so-so lah :).

I'm going to go tomorrow and stock up for the rest of the week. I don't have time on Tues, and I don't want to try to shop on Wed! The main meals on Eve and Day 1 will be elsewhere, so I don't need anything fancy - just simple stuff to feed the 3 of us.
