Yes we also want an all girls school. But the good schools (SCGS and RGPS) are v hard to get in at Phase 2C even if we live within 2KM. Will need to ballot.

Under normal circumstances, RGPS most years 1-2km don’t need to ballot. TBH, without affiliation, it doesn’t have as much appeal as other girls’ schools.

Under this new \"AL\" PSLE score system, kick-off implementation wef. 2021 (this year) onwards,

which operate In a similar manner like the O-level \"L1R5\" points system,


for students born in year 2009 onwards,


it is not easy,
in fact could be challenging for some P6 RGPS students to score approximately estimated 6 AL Cut-off-points at PSLE, to enter RGS (IP).


Therefore, if can,
wiser to enrol your daughter into an affliated primary school.


Going forward wef. 2021 onwards,
due to \"Affliation\" status still existing under the new AL system,

(SCGS / MGS / Paya Lebar Methodist / Fairfield Methodist / St Margaret, CHIJ family, Nanyang) primary schools

will be highly much sought after, during Primary 1 registration. RGPS is less attractive

Thanks for the info. Is it true that distance is a criteria for PV selection for these elite schools. I live more than 2km away that's why I am asking.
