If there is no deadline indicated in the letter, then my guess is it probably means they can make the appointment anytime subject to availability. Afterall, everybody is eligible, the letter is notification of prioritisation in the queue.

I don't think there is any penalty as such if they ignore the letters and don't sign up immediately. However, once the vaccination programme moves on to other groups, I think they will have to fall to the back of the queue. My understanding (not confirmed) is that if they wait until the younger age groups start being vaccinated, those younger people will be given priority. I expect that after the main vaccination programme has gone through the various groups, then anyone of any age can ask for the vaccination.

Your aunties may want to call up and ask about what happens if they wait.

I tried registering at vaccine.gov.sg but did not receive the specific link via SMS. So I guess i hv to wait for my turn.

Did you receive a SMS from MOH confirming your registration?

They will notify you when it is your turn.

I have also not received the link though I registered in February.

Don't think pre-registration will shift one up to earlier phases. More like indicating interest so that one can be notified earlier within own phase.
