Because you are comparing to JCs which have higher proportion of JAE intake.
EJC is the only JC with three IP Sec Schools. If you compare with JCs with IP students like RI, HCI, DHS, RVHS, I think EJC is not terribly out of line. That's why my statement that 60% IP is not unusally high - it is not low either compared to other JCs.

HCI has less than 30% JAE students.

I don't find anything unusually high or low with EJC's IP or JAE proportion. Undeniably, I have certain reservations on EJC, but proportion of IP/JAE is certainly not one of them.

Dhs admission of JAE shows clearly its poor results amongst top tier JCs.
Rv results too dropped more.

Ejc wont want to admit more % JAE, scare results affected.

Dhs / Rv 90 jae or about 20%.
With jae injection, their results esp Dhs dropped so much.
Dhs results prior that used to be good.

Ejc rather maintains just 40% jaes.

If it rains tomorrow, should we conclude Singapore ALWAYS rain and if it doesn’t, Singapore NEVER rains. Neither conclusion is true since it’s the average over a period of time that we are interested in.


DHS result is not poor, neither is EJC result exceptionally good. They are just what you would expect. Fluctuations are normal on a y-o-y basis and par-for-the-course. Based on 3-yr trending, both are good.
