Its not surprising. 60% ip vs 40% jae, Ejc result is expected.
If Ejc admits more JAE students, we will see a downward trend in results similar to Dhs recent dismay results.

So you are saying that JAE is the root cause, as well as potential root cause, for pulling down A levels results of these JCs? What a sweeping statement to blame it all on JAE students........

      Its obvious.
Dhs admission of JAE shows clearly its poor results amongst top tier JCs.
      Rv results too dropped more.

Ejc wont want to admit more % JAE, scare results affected.
It has its 60% IP students to maintain results.[/quote]But I tot DHS only have 20% of JAE (90 out of 438) for 2020 A-level batch?

How come with only 20% of JAE, DHS still performed badly?

So DHS 80% IP students can't even match EJC 60% IP students to maintain their results?

I don't think any JC has the prerogative to decide how many JAE students to take (whether it be RI, DHS or EJC). MOE makes the call based on the teachers, facilities etc. The same goes with student numbers in each Secondary School. For example, I know a school which had to move from 2 to 1 NA class, not because the school wants to, but MOE decides on the allocation of places.
60% IP is not unusually high for an IP-JC.
Compared to other IP JC, Ejc IP cohort is a lot.
        Vjc , NJC IP ~40%

Because you are comparing to JCs which have higher proportion of JAE intake.

EJC is the only JC with three IP Sec Schools. If you compare with JCs with IP students like RI, HCI, DHS, RVHS, I think EJC is not terribly out of line. That’s why my statement that 60% IP is not unusally high - it is not low either compared to other JCs.

Can you give actual numbers rather than say things like \"it's obvious\" or \"Dhs admission of JAE shows clearly...\" when it's not clear at all?

HCI has less than 30% JAE students.

                Yup, am aware 🙂

I don't find anything unusually high or low with EJC's IP or JAE proportion. Undeniably, I have certain reservations on EJC, but proportion of IP/JAE is certainly not one of them.

Ejc jae 40% to ip 60% is a difference in proportion.
Until the year Ejc jae % is > 50% or more, its results due to ip grp.

Dhs / Rv 90 jae or about 20%.
With jae injection, their results esp Dhs dropped so much.
Dhs results prior that used to be good.

Ejc rather maintains just 40% jaes.

Your logic is very funny. Results dropped must be due to JAE students. Results improved must be due to IP students. Are you sure?? :skeptical:

You so clever then pls comment on the JAE students’ performance for RI and HCI. 😂

Qms shared HCI JAE only < 30%, that may explained why HCI always top 1 or 2 now.

Then you comment on Dhs sudden poor results.
