I know this is possible overseas. People will wait at the vaccination centres to try their luck if there are any vaccines to be discarded and can be offered to those waiting at the centres.

Personally thought it will be good if each centre can set up a waitlist of people who can turn up anytime if there are extra vaccines to be discarded at the end of the day. People who are interested can register themselves on this waitlist as well. These vaccines are scarce resources.

So will the teens bet 16 to 18 getting vaccination , earlier I thought they are not under the plan yet?
New NS men are 18 to 19 lei , I thought they are vulnerable too.

Well, as long as they aren't displacing people who booked a slot, and they are willing to spend the time waiting, I think it's fine - better than letting the vaccines go to waste.

Hubby also hv not rec’d response when he registered last night, at 1am and this morning. This is very unlike when I registered mine. It was almost immediate. Maybe system crash. Looks like not likely hv much chance for ppl to miss their vaccination for those trying to Q for earlier jab. When MIL & I went to the centre, it’s really busy with lots of ppl - elderly, front line staff, essential services young locals, etc. One elderly old man apparently sat there for last 3 hours with daughter failing to persuade him to go home.

No idea what he was waiting for, but he refused to get up. Good thing I saw all the staff there were very accommodative & let him be persuaded when he’s ready to go home. Guess he will bah comes dinner time 😉
